Mindy Mount, MBA

Mindy Mount brings to Kairoi her expertise in strategy development, business development, business process improvement, operations, and finance. She is the former president of Jawbone, a company that develops wearable technology; prior to that role she was at Microsoft, where she was corporate vice president and CFO for the Online Services division (Bing, MSN, and the global data centers) as well as the Entertainment and Device division (Xbox, Windows phone, and Mediaroom). Before her time at Microsoft, Mount spent nine years at Time Warner in various leadership roles and was an investment banker with Morgan Stanley. She serves on the boards of Technicolor, the Learning Care Group, and the University of Wisconsin Foundation, and advises a variety of start-ups on business strategy, business models, and rapidly scaling operations. Mount holds an MBA with distinction from the Harvard Business School and is a member of its Dean’s Advisory Board.

Russell Lee, PhD

Russ Lee’s special expertise is in applying transportation logistics to improve workflow in clinical settings. This was the core insight that led to the development of KairoiSuite. He has been program development manager at the University of California Berkeley School of Public Health, Director of Health Systems Innovation at Sutter Health’s California Pacific Medical Center, and senior business analyst at Dignity Health, along with a decade of experience in managing outpatient clinics. Previously he was a high-level planner for an international transportation company. Dr. Lee holds a PhD in Sociology from Harvard University.

Stanley Watson, MA, JD

Stan Watson has unparalleled knowledge of healthcare law as applied in clinical settings. He spent many years as an attorney and litigator with major San Francisco Bay Area law firms, eventually focusing on healthcare issues. He served as Senior Consultant with the Bioethics Consultation Group and as Senior Counsel with the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (1993–2006). He was also Vice President and Director of Kaiser Foundation Research Institute (2006–2013), advising the Kaiser Permanente board on all the legal dimensions of research. Watson earned his law degree at Harvard Law School and an MA in ethics from the Pacific School of Religion/Graduate Theological Union. Among his community service roles, he is board president at Openhouse, which serves LGBT seniors in San Francisco.

Alide Chase, MS

Alide Chase served as Senior Vice President of Quality and Service for the national Kaiser Permanente program. During her nearly 20-year career at Kaiser, she held various operations positions and directed key clinical initiatives designed to support the organization’s goal to transform healthcare, including its groundbreaking Care Management Institute. Chase is also an internationally recognized consultant and speaker, frequently addressing international audiences on health care dynamics and global trends. As a Senior Fellow with the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, she works in the areas of population health and community well-being. Her consulting focuses on optimizing health system performance.
